Haleakala is one of the most impressive mountains I've ever seen, you can pretty much see it from all corners of Maui. It's just this giant mountain super-imposed into the scene. I did a big hike near the summit and the scenery there was extraordinary - it felt like something straight out of a sci-fi movie shot on Mars. For post-processing, I tinted the skies to a more purple-yellow color to accentuate the feeling of outer space.
